Mr. Furgatch has more than 30 years of experience in the world of managed care. As an executive he has been involved in multiple company transactions, project implementations, and operational turnarounds. Originally trained as a registered nurse, he quickly expanded his experience into population management, information systems, contracting, claims, business development, and finance. He has worked in C-suite level roles for medical groups, IPA’s, health plans, ACO's, TPA’s, and large self-funded employer groups. He has been a member of the Integrated Healthcare Associations P4P Governance Committee and recently completed a 3-year term as an appointed member of the Financial Solvency Board for the California Department of Managed Care, the organization that oversees all HMO business in the state of California.
